Frequently Asked Questions

Insurance & Payment

Do you take insurance?

I don’t work directly with insurance companies because their coverage rarely aligns with the level of testing and nutritional support that my patients truly need. However, I provide you with a detailed invoice (a “superbill”) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We do accept HSA cards, however.

Appointments & Scheduling

How long will I have to wait for an appointment?

My schedule is typically 3–6 months out. Because of this, I’ve created Pre-Visit Steps—quizzes and starter bundles—so you can begin supporting your health right away while waiting for your first consultation.

How long are visits?

The first visit is about 45-60 minutes. Follow-up visits are usually 30–45 minutes, depending on complexity. Re-evaluations are scheduled every 1–6 months, depending on the case, to measure your progress and adjust your plan.

Do you offer virtual appointments?

Yes, I offer virtual visits for both new and existing patients. Many of my patients live out of state, and we’ve built systems to make care accessible from wherever you are.

Labs & Testing

Do I need labs before my first visit?

Ideally, yes. It always helps to have more information. Labs give us a window into how your body is functioning before you even step in the door. We’ll guide you on which labs to order locally so your results are ready when we meet. This allows us to focus your first appointment on solutions, not just gathering data. But we are happy to meet with you even without labs, we are here to guide you through this process, wherever you are in the journey.

How often do you repeat labs or evaluations?

I recommend re-testing or re-evaluating every 3–6 months. This helps us track your healing and make sure your plan is moving you forward.

Supplements & Products

Why do you recommend Standard Process and MediHerb?

I use Standard Process and MediHerb because they are whole-food and animal or plant-based formulas grown on regenerative farms. They aren’t synthetic vitamins—they’re concentrated nutrition your body recognizes and can use to repair itself.

Are supplements safe to take long-term?

When used correctly and matched to your body’s needs, yes. These are food-grade concentrates, not drugs. My role is to make sure the right supplements are used for the right time and the right reason.

Can I return products?

Because these supplements are food-based, they cannot be resold once they’ve left the office. For safety, all sales are final. If your order arrives damaged, we will replace it right away.

Symptoms & Conditions

What kinds of issues do you help with?

I don’t treat disease labels—I restore function. That said, patients often come to me with:

  • Digestive concerns: bloating, constipation, reflux, gallbladder issues, SIBO, leaky gut
  • Neurologic symptoms: brain fog, mood swings, headaches, ADD/ADHD, seizures, anxiety, depression, Autism
  • Immune and inflammatory issues: autoimmune conditions, chronic infections, hives, joint pain, type 2 Diabetes, high blood pressure, Chronic Kidney Disease
  • Hormone and energy issues: adrenal fatigue, thyroid dysfunction, blood sugar swings

What if I have a complicated health history—mold, Lyme, Epstein-Barr, cancer, or trauma?

Many of my patients have layered issues. We use a cascading order of care: first digestion, then adrenal-thyroid balance, then detox/immune support, and finally neurologic repair. This sequence allows your body to heal without overwhelm.

Philosophy of Care

How do chiropractic and nutrition work together?

Your nervous system controls every function in your body. If the communication between your brain and organs is distorted—through stress, toxicity, or poor digestion—healing is blocked. Chiropractic restores nerve flow, while nutrition provides the building blocks your body needs to repair. Together, they create lasting change.

What can you help with?

If you feel “stuck”—you’ve tried medications, diets, or protocols without lasting results—this clinic is for you. My job is to identify where the body’s communication is breaking down and provide the tools to restore it. I love to be my patient's health detective.

What’s your story, Dr. Andréa?

My journey started when I sick myself and saw the limits of conventional care for chronic, neurologic, and autoimmune issues. I trained in functional neurology, naturopathy and nutrition because I wanted to offer patients real solutions, not just band-aids. Today, my mission is to teach you how to reclaim your health by addressing the root causes of dysfunction.
